Huge piles of bright red Puja powder dominate the stall, as well as it can be purchased in any amount from the small twist in newspaper, to the outrageous cylinder of it.
This is the red tone which tied together ladies wear in their parting, as well as which is applied to foreheads as the good fortune from holymen, or to photographs of loved ones or to statues of deities to magnify them.
Where would India be without Puja powder!
