Nandi Puja

Biya makes an offering to Nandi, the sacred Bull who carries Shiva through the heavens. She is giving thanks for a safe childbirth, and a son.

Pushkar has little in the way of maternity care, so her baby was born in her tent in the desert, with a local medicine woman in attendance.
